Critter Show

The Critter Show consists of a structured presentation that is interactive and educational. This encounter is great for events like birthday parties and classroom visits.
Critter Booth
Number of species: 7-8
Cost: 1 hour: $200
2-4 hours: $175 per hour
5-6 hours: $150 per hour
Time length: 1-6 hours
In this encounter we will set up our interactive Wild Dayton booth. This encounter is great for large events, like festivals.

Fees
For outdoor events where a source of shade is not provided, a canopy setup fee of $25 will be charged. If weather conditions make a canopy unnecessary, the fee wil be waived or refunded.
For events 40 minutes away or further from our location in 45417, we will charge an additional $25. For encounters an hour or further, another $25 will be charged.
Due to extra scheduling preparations, shows scheduled 3 PM or later Mon-Thurs will include a $50 fee.
All prices are pre-tax.
Encounter Info
Please allot 15-20 minutes for us to set up before the start of a Critter Show. For a Booth, please at least 30 minutes will be necessary.
For birthday parties, we recommend booking us at least 15 minutes after the start of your event so that all attendees are present for the show.
For Critter Shows, we ask that you provide enough space for a 6' folding table. For the Critter Booth, we will need enough space for two 8x8' canopies.
For outdoor encounters, the temperature must be between 60-85°. We recommend making a backup plan in the event of inclement weather. If inclement weather is expected, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss available options.
Hand sanitizer will be provided and is required for anyone who wishes to touch the animals.
Audience size determines the extant of animal interactivity. We will do our best to ensure everyone gets an opportunity to interact with the animals. For large groups we will typically call up one or two kids to hold each animal, and at the end everyone can come up and touch the animals.
For private events with children in attendance, there must be a supervising adult present during the full length of the show who is in charge of ensuring that young participants behave appropriately. Our presenters provide educational experiences, not childcare.
Safety
All of our animals have been handled extensively. That being said, they are still animals. We will show you how to properly interact with them to mitigate the risk of harm to both you and the animals. We will never bring an animal that has a history of aggression.
